It’s just over a week until entries close for the 2021 GRCA National Specialty in Ocala, Fla., and the event committee is really excited about the numbers being generated by entries and attendees for what will be the first National in two years.

“With what we’re seeing, it looks like Golden Retriever people are ready for this long awaited National,” said Pat Kopco, chair of the National for the Mid-Florida Golden Retriever Club. “The competition events have great entries and the social events keep getting bigger every day.

“We’re looking at the largest Top Twenty Invitational attendance in the history of the event. We look forward to welcoming everyone to Florida next month.”

The 2020 GRCA National, which was also to have been held in Florida, was canceled due to the pandemic, but this year’s is charging forward. Most of the events for the National will be held at the World Equestrian Center in Ocala, Fla., with field events held nearby at Lazy J Ranch. Tracking will be held a short distance away at Grand Oaks Resort.
